Sombrio's Jr. Rev shorts offer performance and style suited for the trails. These gravity shorts offer excellent durability to hold up against the rigors of riding
Since the 1980's a small cabal of mountain bikers have been escaping from the glass and steel of Vancouver, into the mountain the tower over the city's North Shore. Inside the green envelope of the forest they would experiment with the boundaries of possibility on their mountain bikes; carving lines in the forest floor, riding sheer rock faces, and flying through the canopy. They tested the limits of cycling in an era when the emphasis was on racing the clock; their priority was simple, explore and establish their own limits on a bike, challenging the conventions of mountain biking. This North Shore scene played a pivotal role in the early Freeride movement and it was here that Sombrio was born. At the time, skintight Lycra was the status quo in mountain biking, but it didn't suit the rigors of riding. Sombrio introduced a range of functional and stylish clothing, suited for the harsh environment of the North Shore.
